Unlock potential with KAPS educational games
Discover how our unique educational games, crafted with the wisdom and creativity of seniors, can transform vocabulary learning for cognitively impaired students and seniors. Experience the power of visual association and patient progression.

Vocabulary growth, gentle steps
Our educational games are designed to nurture vocabulary development in cognitively impaired students and seniors through a thoughtful, step-by-step approach. We gently introduce simple words, pairing them with corresponding pictures for strong visual association. These words then appear in easy sentences, reinforcing understanding and application, and building foundational reading skills.
A key feature is the integration of these words and pictures into engaging activities like Picture Bingo, enhancing vocabulary recall and listening skills. Our unique advantage? We use original artwork created by seniors from our painting classes. This allows cognitively impaired students to connect with and learn from the rich experiences and perspectives of our senior community. For cognitively impaired seniors, this shared life experience with the artists fosters a deeper connection and enhances engagement.

Designed for dedicated educators and caregivers
Our educational games are primarily for teachers of special needs students, particularly those with cognitive impairment, in kindergarten through second grade. Pre-K teachers may also find them beneficial. Beyond the classroom, activity directors and caregivers for cognitively impaired seniors in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and memory care units can also greatly benefit from these engaging tools.
We understand the significant challenge of teaching new words and concepts to cognitively impaired individuals. It requires immense patience from teachers and caregivers as they guide students and seniors to associate words with images, and then to use these words in sentences. Our games are designed to facilitate this process, but always remember to take "baby steps" – a patient and gradual approach is key to success.

Ease of use, meaningful outcomes
Our goal is for caregivers and educators to experience a profound sense of accomplishment and appreciation for how easily our games guide cognitively impaired seniors and students from square one to a fundamental grasp of vocabulary and functional reading skills. The straightforward design and engaging content aim to make this challenging journey both rewarding and effective.
